Union College scored once in the first, and once in the second to take a 2-0 lead into the third period against #10 Providence. Providence had been near the goal all game long, and with five minutes remaining, they scored to make it a 2-1 game. Yet only a minute later, Union scored a back-breaker to put the Dutchmen up 3-1, which is how it ended. Union is now unbeaten in its last fifteen games, with a record of 14-0-1 in that stretch. Union advanced to the Frozen Four in Philadelphia with today’s win.
