College Hockey Update: Words are not necessary, and it seems nothing could be written that is deserving of what was accomplished by a group of college kids going up against an overly-well oiled machine of (realistically) professional hockey players who had played together for as long as fifteen years, and had dominated the world in every way imaginable in the sport for about that long. It was labeled as the greatest sports event of the 20th Century, and it is certainly the greatest American Hockey Win ever. It was on Friday, February 22, 1980, that the US Olympic Hockey Team Beat the Russians. It was a long, long time ago, but the magnitude of this win deserves at least this small tribute:

Most all of us were lucky enough to watch this on TV, and maybe a reader or two actually attended it. For those who missed it, or are too young to have seen this, I can only say, I’m sorry.
That’s all for now. Stay tuned, and go Terriers!
