College Hockey Update:  Thanks for being in the pool.

IF YOU DISAGREE WITH MY SCORING FOR YOU, EMAIL ME RIGHT AWAY.

(I’ve kept all the emailed entries).

I DID DOUBLE CHECK, BUT MISTAKES ARE POSSIBLE.

I updated you that we have 52 participants this year, our second highest ever.  With all four of the highest ranked teams out, some folks have brackets in shambles, while others are flourishing.  I’m sure even those with decimated brackets will still be thrilled to watch the Frozen Four coming up, and will be thrilled for the eventual winner of the pool.  So who’s done oh so well so far in the pool?  I am just about 100% sure we have a record broken this year.  Kim Ramsey correctly picked eleven of twelve possible picks in the first two rounds.  I just checked each year back as far as 2010, and in that span there were 8’s 9’s and several 10’s.  I do not recall ever have eleven at this stage.  With that said . . . . here we go — participants are ranked by the number of correct picks, with the highest number possible at this point being twelve:

11   KRamsey

10  Krajan, JPike

9    McLean, Peterson, ERamsey, MReichel, GSchreader

8    Holte, Johnson, Oswald, Pastor, DRamsey, Rugani, JSchreader, Schwictenberg, DShymanski, Sweeney

7     Bettendorf, Bremer, Corbin, Cook, Erdman, Fairbrother, Heisel, Kirsch, Mattson, Muscarella, Olson, MPike, PReichel, Roth, Schmidt, Shimshock, TShymanski, Speare

6    Bricknell, Cattermole, Michela, O’Connell, Sempere, Slaughter

5    Breen, Huberty, Kreisel, Miller, Sell, Wienbar

4    Kramer, Ryan, Shaida

3    Allen

And what’s it all about?  The wearable trophy, of course!  Has anyone in San Francisco seen Mike Michela sporting his around town?

That’s all for now.  Stay tuned, and go Terriers!
