COLLEGE HOCKEY UPDATE FEATURED PLAYER
Last weekend Minnesota had huge help from freshman forward Logan Cooley, of Pittsburgh, PA., who scored twice in the third period Saturday night as Minnesota hosted, and buried, #19 Michigan State 5-1 in a Big Ten semifinal game. Cooley is third in goals scored on his team, with eighteen, and is first in assists, with thirty-two. Minnesota, 26-8-1, and ranked #1, will host #4 Michigan tomorrow night, Saturday, March 18, for the Big Ten Championship at 5pm Pacific Time, on the Big Ten network.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT — THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
Brackets for our pool will be emailed out, hopefully by Monday night, March 20th, and will be due back to me by Wednesday night, March 22nd, with the tournament starting the next day, Thursday, March 23rd.
Thanks for hanging in there with us as I learn how to use the new system, which I haven’t really learned yet, and I’m not even sure if I’ll be able to post this. Example: Imagine a great picture of Logan Cooley on the home page, and at the top of this post. I don’t seem to be able to arrange for that just yet. I have the picture picked out . . . .
