Where Do You Stand In Our Pool ?

College Hockey Update: Ok, this has to rank as the lousiest college hockey coverage ever — for now let’s get caught up on standings in the pool after the first two rounds, and then let’s see if we can get some highlights posted from those rounds as well. Today’s post could have been entitled:

Who is Andrew Kramer, and will there be any stopping him ??!!

What a tournament! Of twelve games played so far, four went to OT including three in the first round, two of them between teams ranked #3 and #13, and ranked #4 and #14. Playoff hockey at it’s best. Andrew Kramer? Keep reading.

Very Quick Important Note: Are you attending the Frozen Four this week? If so, please contact me immediately ! Thanks.

Quick Important Note: Normally I build the table in word as I enter the picks. It’s a very clean method. For some reason I saved all the picks from last year and tried to do it in a different fashion — big mistake, lots of errors as I went, and it took me forever to get it done. While I think I cleaned it all up, should you disagree with your total, please advise me. I have saved all the entries and I can go back and double check.

And Andrew Kramer? Cousin of Cosmo Kramer? I don’t know. But I don’t think so. He’s some dude. Who apparently likes or even loves college hockey. He’s been in the pool almost every year for at least the last ten years now. His notes are always filled with true enthusiasm for the NCAA Tournament. And what a start he is off to — read on now to the list of the number of correct picks for all 41 entrants, with the maximum number possible at this juncture being 12:

12 Kramer

11 Pastor, Rarden

10 Holte, Kriesel, Michela, Naughton, MReichel

9 Erdman, Huberty, Muscarella, PReichel, JSchreader, DShymanski, Smith

8 Cattermole, Fairbrother, KMattson, Miller, EOlson, Peterson, GgSchreader, GnSchreader, Sempere, MShymanski, TShymanski

7 Carlisle, Fong, Raluga, Shepard, Slaughter, Sweeney

6 Cook, DMattson, MOlson, KRamsey, Shimshock, Speare

5 DRamsey

4 PMattson

3 Roth

It will be here before we know it, the Frozen Four. Can’t wait.

We’ll soon know who won the 2024 NCAA Hockey Championship, AND who won the 2024 College Hockey Update Pool!

That’s all for now.

Stay tuned, and go Terriers!
