Minnesota-Duluth sophomore forward Max Plante, of Hermantown, MN., scored the first goal of the night for his team in a crazy 2OT loss to Denver in the NCHC Championship Game on the University of Denver campus. Plante is first on his team (and tied for 3rd in the country) in goals scored, with twenty-four, and is tied for third on the team (and tied for twentieth in the country) in assists, with twenty-five. Minnesota Duluth, 23-14-1, ranked #6, and a legitimate contender to win it all, opens opens play in the Eastern Region of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 27th at 6:00PM Pacific Time in Albany, N. Y., against #10 Pennsylvania State University — broadcast on ESPN2.  Email your picks in NOW !  Details are below.

3.  Any new entrant this year MUST provide a phone number with their entry, and then provide a brief 1-2 minute phone interview.

My picks are provided here as an example of how your picks should look when they are sent to me (note that the number before each pick is the number under the space where you would write the score for each game on the bracket; it’s a “game number.”):
